James Duran

James is a whole brainer, being able to help make sense of the business value of marketing decisions. Prior to Ke James was a director level in a fortune 500 leading multi-unit small box retail locations. After leaving the corporate world behind he joined a medical staffing company leading operations and helping to navigate through some tough storms leading to the sale of the company in early 2010. James took his corporate and small business experience and began consulting in operations and financial operations to many small businesses in the Omaha area. In 2012 the opportunity to takeover a struggling new media company presented it self, after a rebrand to KreativElement shortly after the company has continued to grow and in April of 2016 KreativElement acquired Social Media Contractors. James helps lead strategy for clients as well as general marketing consulting and business development for Ke while still consulting with companies in the area.

Margaux grew up in the sunshine state and still gets excited the first time it snows every winter… but only the first time. She worked as an actress for Universal Studios, then for the Orlando Magic the year they played for in the finals, and as a reporter and producer for CFN13 back in Florida. She loves tennis, kayaking and nature, but most of all her sweet handsome son, Grayson.

Courtney McGann

Originally from North Dakota, Courtney grew up in Omaha and got her degree in General Studies from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She got her first experiences in marketing, social media management, content creation and event planning with Travel Blog Exchange. Courtney then moved on to Omaha-based marketing firm, Red Branch Media, as the Content Team Director. Her other interests include cross stitching inappropriate phrases, thrift store shopping, bike riding and telling people about how she collected records before it was cool.

Ashley Doherty

Ashley Doherty

Originally from Omaha, Nebraska Ashley grew up in Missouri and relocated to Omaha in 2009 to study web design at Metropolitan Community College. As a recent graduate she aspires all things web and typography and plans to continue her education in a wide range of areas including web development, mobile app design and motion graphics. Ashley started out as a freelance web designer and landed her first web design job right here at KreativElement. You can usually find Ashley spending time outdoors riding her four-wheeler or camping along side a warm fire. She also enjoys spending time with her dogs Chez and Wrigley.

Dylan Thaemert

Dylan is an Omaha native who’s spent time living in Chicago and Rome. He holds a BA in English from Loyola University Chicago. When not producing content for KE, you can find him in the trees and bunkers of local golf courses or making art on his dining room table.

Katie Tramdachs

Hailing from central Nebraska, Katie moved to Omaha to attend and graduate from Creighton University. Before coming to KE, she did marketing for two local startups. When she isn’t wowing people with her marketing skills, you can usually find Katie reading, at the gym, watching Netflix, or spending time with her beloved dogs, Charlie and Bruin, and cat, Kitten.

Earlier in life James studied to be a minister, so we brought him in to help tell our story. James has lived in the south, the UK, the Windy City, and now Omaha. James is also our cleaner; we don’t mean that in the janitorial sense (though he will proudly tell you that he took out the trash once), but in the “Pulp Fiction” sense: James helps us tie up all the loose ends.

Chase was born and raised in south Florida, and received his degree in Digital Arts & Design from Full Sail University in Orlando, FL. After a few trips to Omaha he made the decision to call the city home. His focus is in video production, motion graphic design, and illustration, but regardless of the medium he loves telling a brand’s story. In his free time he likes to go to live shows, watch documentaries, and spend time with his family.

Rachel was born and raised in Omaha. She spent twelve years working in Commercial Insurance. She is currently going to Metropolitan Community College for a Business Management degree. She has a 4 year old son and says her favorite job is being a mom.  In her spare time, she enjoys reading or listening to books, playing with her son and spending time with friends and family.

Nebraska born and raised, Tasha helps businesses and nonprofits build their online presence by customizing websites to fit their needs. She’s currently studying graphic design in Florida. Tasha also enjoys adventures, art, playing the ukulele, and coffee.

Wendy Duran

Wendy was born in North Dakota, grew up in Montana and Oklahoma, and was transplanted via her husband’s job to Omaha, Nebraska in 2007. Wendy believes that excellent customer service and satisfaction should be the priority for businesses. Using that motto, she assists clients with social media planning, engagement, and implementation. When not working in the online world, she homeschools her children and manages a small acreage with her husband, kids, chickens, and dog. She loves to shop garage sales and thrift stores in order to repurpose items in her spare time.

Abigail Wood

Abigail was born in Oklahoma but has the heart of a Nebraskan. She is passionate about learning more about social media, how it impacts businesses today, and how to use it to reach out to her generation. She recently moved back from Oklahoma and is starting a new career with us at KreativElement as our Social Marketing Assistant. Abigail’s parents are her biggest influences when it comes to social media (her dad is the boss, but still takes her job very seriously). Abigail believes that no matter what you are doing you need to give your 100%. When not working, she can be found spending time with her husband, family, and dogs. Abigail loves to go shopping, decorating rooms, taking pictures, and watching movies in a pair of comfy clothes.
Janel Scott-Lind

Janel Scott-Lind

Janel Scott-Lind specializes in search engine marketing and search engine optimization. She is self-taught in SEO and SEM, with over a decade of experience in both. She comes to KE with a lot of knowledge of B2B marketing via Google Adwords and Bing Advertising. She has a passion for data, metrics, and analytics, especially if it refers to digital marketing and growth opportunities in digital advertising. She is an advocate for best marketing practices in terms of SEO, instead of blackhat SEO tactics. Janel likes to tell 404 and standard response code jokes as well as goofy internet puns. Her hobbies include photography, which she does part-time with her husband, Chris. She is one of the administrators of the Instagrammers of Omaha, an Instagram photography group, and she volunteers with the Midwest Shiba Inu Rescue as a foster and transporter.

Brittney Dorner

Brittney Dorner

Brittney, an Omaha native, graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a Bachelor’s of Science in Communication, a Journalism major, a concentration in Advertising and Public Relations, and an English minor. During her time at UNO, she was an account associate with the nationally recognized MAVPRSSA — a student-run public relations firm — as well as a member of the American Advertising Federation. Upon graduation, Brittney accepted the position of Digital Marketing Specialist at eSpark Media, where she did web design, social media, graphic design, and video editing.
A former Barista, she has some incredibly serious opinions on what’s good coffee. Her passions include chocolate, traveling, thrift shopping, theatre, and spending quality time with Vladimir Boris Nosferatu, her handsome, all-black, domestic short hair, rescue cat.
