Your relationship with social media can feel love/hate sometimes. On the one hand, it can do wonders for broadening your reach and expanding your audience, but on the other hand, it requires a lot of tender loving care (a.k.a. strategy and planning) in order to see true results. Either way, your organization should be taking advantage of all the benefits of social networks, even if it doesn’t feel like a core part of your business (yet).

See, while social media may feel tedious at times, it’s also very rewarding when you take advantage of all its features and benefits. Here’s where the four pillars of social media success come in handy. Our approach is broken down into four important areas to help you understand what we do and why it matters for your organization. Each area becomes a crucial part of the formula to see meaningful results on social media. Let’s break it down:

  • Content Creation
  • Engagement
  • Growth
  • Paid Ads

Content Creation

This is where the magic happens. We don’t just pick a photo and slap some words next to it — we get down to the meat and potatoes of your social media strategy. To do that, we complete a Content Strategy Guide (CSG) together. During your onboarding process, we’ll run through the CSG so it enables us to have a true understanding of your company culture, business objectives, and target audience. The completed CSG will be a powerful tool in your account manager’s toolbox to create perfectly crafted content for your audience.

Worried about handing your social reigns over to us? Don’t be! You’ll have full power over each week’s social media content. Our process includes sending over the next week’s content for you to review and approve before we move forward in the process. You can choose to be as hands-on with this as you’d like. Once you’ve given us your blessing, we’ll schedule the social at optimal times for maximum exposure!

Engagement

When businesses come to us for help, we find that engagement tends to be one of the biggest areas for improvement. You see, by engaging with your audience online, social media platforms tend to reward you for encouraging its users to log back into the platform. It’s as small as liking a comment or replying to a thread, but all these actions add up as brownie points in your algorithm performance! That’s why your account manager will check your profiles every day. This also includes replying to all DMs and private messages so your social presence is known for getting back to folks in a timely and professional manner. Sounds awesome, right?

Growth

Growth can be done in two ways — organic or paid. Our previous pillar of engagement also includes growth because with engagement, we focus on your target audience and they naturally choose to follow and engage with your organization. Based on your budget and needs, we’ll deploy more growth hacks to seek out potential audience members and get them involved in your growing online community. In combination with paid ads, this can exponentially speed up your growth!

Paid Ads

Once your social media picks up some traction, you might want to try including paid ads into your strategy. Paid ads refer to two areas — social media and search engine marketing. The beginning of a campaign first starts with what area you’re looking to improve in — this could be website clicks, search engine rankings, or more post engagement. Regardless of the end goal, your account manager will create, manage, and report on your ad performance so you understand how well your money is being spent.

The four pillars of social media success aren’t exhaustive, but they are a robust foundation for where good social media begins. It’s a lot of work, and that’s why we love doing it for you. Just because you excel at running and growing your organization doesn’t mean you need to be exerting your time in this area when you could be focusing more on other important tasks. For every need and budget, KreativElement has a plan for you because we believe you and your organization are worth it.
